Ballerina Gift Card Holders With Carmen Paper Collection Posted on 10 Jul 10:25 , 4 comments

Hello! This is Shannon, new member of the Melody Lane Design Team! I look forward to sharing my projects using these very fun and vibrant papers.

My first project is a set of gift card holders featuring 4 papers (4, 6, 10 & 11) from the Carmen Paper Collection. I love these bright, colourful kaleidoscope and rainbow images! I thought they would work perfectly with the pattern fill feature in Cricut Design Space for the panels of this gift card holder, which can be found on the To You From Me Cricut Cartridge. I printed out a couple of my favourite Moody Ballerinas from Oak Tree Stamps and coloured them to coordinate with the paper. I added a stamped sentiment and a few simple embellishments to create a quick and easy gift card holder, which will hold gift cards from a dance supply store for the special dancers in my life.

For more information about the project, and to see the inside of the cards, check out my Blog at CanadianCricutCrafter.wordpress.com

Fairy Digital Paper & Stamps, Post by Melody Lane Posted on 7 Jul 18:13 , 4 comments

Here are a few example of using the Fairy Digital Paper set and the Fairy stamps from Oak Tree Stamps

I printed some of the Fairy Paper first before using the Fairy Digital dies from Oak Tree Stamps.

I used Print then Cut in Cricut Design Space after I scanned in my fairy stamp after coloring it, to create this card. Here is a video to show you how I did it.  https://youtu.be/W5tpZUPnfS4

Here is where I added it to my phone wallpaper and my laptop wall paper.

Here is another project I did with the Fairy Paper, and there will be more to come.

CARMEN 14 DIGITAL PAPER and Cricut Printable Iron-on Posted on 30 Jun 14:27 , 6 comments

Hi again! Carole here! I just designed and produced this T-shirt using Melody Lane's Carmen Digital Paper with Cricut Printable Iron-on. I LOVE how it turned out!!

I use the printable iron on a lot so thought I might add a tip for you, if you are able to let your print then cut rest for 24 hours before pressing the colours will last longer and remain more vibrant during the pressing process.
