I love both magic color slider cards and shaker cards, so I wanted to bring the two together for one awesome card. This fall inspired card uses Melody Lane DesignsHolly Digital paper and Maymay Made It's “Memory Lane” Stamp set. This would make a great fall birthday card for the man in your life. The card basics to cut are listed below. You can see how to make this card in my youtube video. However, while putting this one together, there were some mistakes. I decided to leave them in, both to show we all make mistakes – but more importantly how to correct those mistakes. If you make this card be sure and share it on theMelody Lane Digital facebook page.
I wanted to create a card that had a pocket for either a message or gift card. My original design was for Christmas, but for this example I made one for a birthday or other special occasion using Melody’s Digital paper. This project actually used 3 different paper sets: Madison, Fairy and Becky! I love trying to come up with new designs and using this paper was a breeze! Even though I used 3 different designs, the colors all went together! You can change this card up to fit any occasion! Enjoy and let us see what you create. I have included my design space file, as well as dimensions for cutting it out with a paper trimmer.
Card Dimensions and supplies: Base: 5x10 inches, scored at 5 inches Layer (cut 2, one for front and one inside): 4.75 inch square 1.25x4.5 inch stirp 1.25x1.75 piece for sentiment Top layer (best with a 2 sided paper): 4.5 inch square, scored diagonally Craft Tag cut to 3 inches Twine Washi Tape

I found this cute pop up slider card design on youtube by Jan Brown. I wanted to re-create it in design space. So here is the finished project. I used Melody Lane’s Zoey Digital Paper and her SVG: Life is too short to be anything but Sexy! Remember to use the code GEORGIA40X to get 40% off your entire order at Melody Lane Designs! For my stamping I used Maymay Made It "Love Is" Stamp set. I used the chomas engraving tip to “write” the svg on my heart, then colored in to make it pop. This card is quick to put together, under 15 minutes! You can change it up for any season or holiday! In my cut file I included 3 different toppers, hearts, ovals and a rectangle. You could easily put your own creation on the front!
Playing in my craft room today, I finished an order of cards I had and decided to just play. I made this tattered lace inspired card. The light blue snowy background paper is from Chloe Digital Paper. To make the snowman I used a Tattered Lace Christmas Cuties Snowman Die and cut several out of different papers to create his layers. My matting and layers were made using a set of shaped dies I have (do not know brand as I have them on a magnetic board and didn't think to mark the brand). On the inside of the card I used a stamp from Maymay Made It that says There's Snow One Like You.
You can use the Chloe Digital paper for many Christmas cards.
So, I found another unique fold card to share with you! My inspiration was Holly Young on Youtube. I watched others after hers, but hers was the first! I fell in love with it, so I went to trusty Cricut Design Space and created a file for it. But my "twist" on the card, was to make it a pop-up card! Using Melody Lane's "Lola" Digital Paper was a natural. The piece I used seemed to have movement which went well with the stamp set I was using. And the colors spoke fall to me. If you don't have a Cricut, just watch Holly's video and you will be making it in no time. Remember to use the code GEORGIA40X to receive 40% off "Lola" digital paper AND your entire purchase from Melody Lane Designs Digital Paper!
You can use my Cricut File and the possibilities are endless! I used Art Impressions Stamps to complete my card, but you could do diecuts from Cricut, stamps, stickers or whatever your imagination dreams up! Come join me on Youtube and I will show you how to assemble this card!
I share my Cricut Design Space files with people who support me on Patreon, they also get great discounts on the digital paper along with Exclusive Digital Paper. If you want the file for this card you can get it here by supporting me for $1 along with hundreds of other files. https://www.patreon.com/posts/thank-you-pop-6672420
The leaves are all in this image - Leaves - #M3B92C from the cartridge Simply Scarecrow, if you don't own them or have Access you will be charged $.99 from Cricut, you are welcome to delete them and you will not be charged, The font I used in the file was free Cricut Alphabet and Cricut Font and Basic Shapes, the font for the writing I used in the video was called Haley, a Cricut Access Exclusive.
I designed this wedding card using Melody Lane Designs Skylar Digital Paper. I loved the look of it embossed and distressed! I had a contest on Melody Lane Designs Digital Paper Facebook Page asking for ideas as to what to create with this paper. I only had 2 entries, and both said a wedding card. So that is what I did! And since only 2 people entered, they both are winners!!!! Congratulations to Stacy Matthews and Susan Forti! Your project and few goodies will be in the mail soon! You can watch the video on how to create this card here!

I know its early to be thinking about Halloween, but then again is it really ever too early to being thinking about Halloween? Never! I am a huge fan of Halloween and everything that goes along with it. From the chill in the evening air, to the spooks and surprises that lurk around every corner. To me it is just one of the most magical times of the year. The card that I have for you today is a warm up card for this Halloween season. Using some Tim Holtz products I found at Michaels and the Elvira Digital Paper Set from Melody Lane, I came up with this fun and maybe not so spooky card. I also love getting to work with vellum and give this card just a small little something to make it really pop. You can check out how I made this card by visiting the youtube video by clicking here.
